About the role:Our Payroll & HR Admin will gain experience in a wide variety of HR processes and will support our employees experience by ensuring they provide responsive, friendly, and professional service. If you enjoy working in a role where youll have a balance of independence and opportunities to collaborate and be situationally task or people-oriented - this may be the position for you! You bring a positive attitude and your attention to detail and we’ll provide you with the support, tools, and training you’ll need to do your best work each day.Youll work Monday to Friday, and have weekends off to enjoy your own RV camping adventures!Reporting to the HR Manager, the Payroll & HR Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and executing established full-cycle recruitment, new hire onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and payroll processes including:
  • Processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, and acting as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries
  • Administering our benefits program including employee enrollment, termination, and changes to employee benefits, calculation, and deduction of premiums
  • Monitoring applicable payroll, and benefit regulations
  • Creating job ads, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone interviews, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, drafting and extending employment agreements, and administering behavioral assessments
  • Executing HR-related onboarding tasks, and managing the execution of managements onboarding activities
  • Supporting the Office Manager by posting commission deals, relevant to the monthly payroll process
Requirements:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced working within MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to our 28712 114 Avenue, Acheson location
