This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility located in Edmonton, ABDo not miss the opportunity to join an engaging team of people-centric professionals, leaders, problem solvers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job Summary:The Plant Administrator will be responsible for coordinating office activities and operations while providing clerical and administrative support to the Management team. This is full-time position that reports to the Plant Manager with an emphasis on various office and support functions.This is a full-time, day shift position (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm), with a proposed hourly pay range between $24-28, depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with coveralls vendor to troubleshoot problems and ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support various employee and site functions such as employee gatherings, meals, appreciation programs, as well as support charitable initiatives.
  • Collecting and distributing the mail for plant management team.
  • Maintain all inventory production materials/tools inventory counts
  • Place orders to maintain min/max inventory levels.
  • Coordinate the water/vending machine refills and repairs
  • Supervise the third-party janitorial service
  • Perform regular checks for cleanliness in various areas around the plantamp; report deficiencies to production manager
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of janitorial supplies
  • Take over lunchrooms supplies ordering (coffee, tea, cream, utensils, etc.)
  • Place orders for office supplies as requested through vendor accounts
  • Coordinate food orders as needed for various meetings
  • Be the point of contact to coordinate site activities with for facility maintenance
  • Maintain filing system for production team both hard copy and server (record retention management).
Requirements
  • College diploma in Administration or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong digital literacy and clerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to prioritize multiple requests from team members
  • Production/Manufacturing experience highly desired

Working Conditions:Position will be 50% in an office setting and 50% on production floor. When in the office, physical effort is minimal, as it may require occasional carrying and/or lifting of small objects and walking through the plant, shipping, and office areas. There is a considerable amount of sensory attention required.
