Robert half is hiring now for an experienced Project Specialist for our Edmonton Client. As the successful candidate for this position, you will help manage key infrastructure projects as part of our clients strategic business plan. This jobs primary priority, as a key member of the team, is to ensure that consultation, design, configuration, and implementation are achieved and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. You will also assist the service team in providing emergency escalation support to resolve high-level issues. You are a self-starter and will bring solid technical knowledge combined with strong strategic/critical thinking skills. Interested Apply online today and grow your professional career with this exciting new opportunity.MUST HAVES:5 + years’ successful working experience in a similar role with in-depth experience providing technical support to stakeholders, supporting desktop and server hardware, including O365 and AzureStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with solid relationship/management skillsProficiency supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, (Server 2012 and newer, Windows 7, 8 and 10, standard productivity suites like MS Office etc.)Self-starter, ability to be adaptive and thrive in constantly changing environmentsSolid networking experience and highly knowledgeable of established methodologies (IPV4, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and Routing)Comprehensive knowledge infrastructure (high-availability, virtualization, SAN Storage, advanced networking, security, etc.) along with experience supporting Active DirectoryCritical thinking, problem solving, ability to anticipates issues and understands how a problem and its solution will affect the client environmentExcellent leadership and motivational capabilities combined with solid negotiating skills and stakeholder relationship/management skillsPost-secondary degree in relatable fieldThis position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
