Job Description

Primary Role FocusDate entry and updating ERP system with required information. This role reports to the Purchasing Supervisor.Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Day to day data entry
  • Strong computer skills
  • Very strong organization and communication skills
  • Update ERP system with required information (item cards, vendor information, pricing … etc.)
  • Maintain accurate flow of information
  • Timely responses
  • Work closely with Purchasing Coordinator to ensure all date is entered correctly
The Purchaser will possess the following:
  • 1+ years of Purchasing experience
  • Experience with Navision would be an asset
  • Previous purchasing experience, preference will be given to those having purchased in a manufacturing environment
Position RequirementsExperience and Skills
  • Working experience with ERP systems (i.e. Navision, JDE, SAP, Oracle)
  • Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience in an oilfield manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of down-hole product, machining of parts, and sourcing machined parts is an asset
Education and Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
Physical and Safety Requirements
  • Compliance with Packers Plus Health & Safety program
  • This role is not Safety Sensitive, but is Subject to post-incident and reasonable-cause drug & alcohol testing
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and use of a computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse
