Job Description

Spartan Controls is an employee-owned company and leading provider of industrial automation, valves, measurement and control solutions for process industries in Western Canada. We are dedicated to providing exceptional sales, support and service experiences for our diverse customer base in industries such as mining, power, oil & gas, municipal, pulp & paper, and chemical.We are recruiting for a 12-month full-time temporary Quality Administrator to cover a maternity leave, based in Edmonton. Reporting to the Manager, Quality, this ro le will be responsible to provide administrative support for a variety of initiatives the Quality team is working on for all Spartan locations.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Notification admin - data validation, triage, task assignment for customer complaints and product nonconformance
  • Maintenance of Quality SharePoint pages and other record keeping
  • Updating revisions of controlled documents
  • Assist building role-based training profiles and training content
  • Collect, upload, and track Spartan equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Return nonconforming items to factories
  • Other various administrative tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education credential an asset
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in working with an ISO 9001 based Quality program would be an asset
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
  • Experience with SAP would be an asset
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must be a positive team player, professional, responsible and adaptable
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
