The following opportunity is a long-term contract (approximately 18 months), working 35 hours per week.As the Registration Assessments Program Coordinator, you will utilize your strong interpersonal and communications skills to coordinate all activities related to registration assessments within the department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESContribute to discussions regarding assessment projects, national pan-Canadian National Assessment Collaboration Practice Readiness Assessment (NAC PRA) work, decisions, and physician file management.Participate in related assessment research both locally and nationally to test new assessment tools and processes.Coordinate recruitment of physician assessors and collaborate with U of C in development and delivery of applicant orientation program.Coordinate arrangements of assessments and NAC PRA for Therapeutics Decision Making Exam.Maintain electronic assessment system, registration assessments website content, and all learning materials.Review and provide input on complex registration/assessment files for program manager and senior medical advisor; handle registrar approvals for acupuncture, practicing outside established conventional medicine, certified examiners, and injury management consultants.Function as a member of the Registration team by reviewing and investigating complex registration files, composing correspondence, and act as a liaison between internal team members and external partners.For additional role specifics, please see the position profile attachment located at the bottom of this posting.QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Formalized specialized skills typically obtained through a one-year post-secondary certificate (e.g. administrative program), or equivalent.Experience:Requirement for 3 to 5 years of related experience.Skills:Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.Competent in website and survey design.Advanced interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.Project management knowledge, techniques, and tools.Self-directed to perform independently with minimal supervision.Ability to influence active participation and engagement of others without direct authority with internal team members and external partners.BENEFITS OFFEREDHealth (includes vision)DentalEmployee Family Assistance ProgramHealth & Fitness BenefitParking/Transit BenefitOptional RRSP & TFSAPersonal Time Off (PTO)Professional Development3 weeks' vacation in first year of contract4 weeks' vacation in second year of contractAlong with your resume, please submit a cover letter outlining why you are the right candidate for this position by telling us how your relevant work experience has prepared you to undertake this role.
