About Chatty TherapyChatty Therapy Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled administrative assistant to join our growing team of speech-language pathologists in Edmonton, Alberta. Chatty Therapy supports childrens and adults communication so that they can build important relationships and thrive in their daily lives. Our mission is to empower family and caregivers to support their loved one’s speech-language and feeding development. We work with a diverse age and population of children who have autism and other developmental disorders within the home, community or virtually. Please see more information at chattytherapy.com.Administrator/Receptionist Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Answer, screen and forward telephone calls and emails, take messages
  • Determine nature and purpose of initial inquiry. Provide basic information about company, or direct to appropriate person
  • Complete client and contractor onboarding and follow up
  • Provide active listening and handle general complaints with tact
  • Schedule appointments
  • Receive payments, direct billing, record receipts and maintain invoices
  • Provide administrative support with documents and forms
  • Communicate with others within the company
Skills required:
  • Maintain and file records: client record management system, logbooks, business documents, task records
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Communicate with clients in an efficient and appropriate manner to enable them to access the desired services or support
  • Disseminate and maintain internal communications
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Administer appointments - Accept, schedule and cancel appointments.
  • Communicate by telephone - Liaise via telephone by making and answering calls in a timely, professional and polite manner.
  • Maintain client and company confidentiality

  • Grace 12 diploma or GED
  • Flexible availability
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Compassion and patience to support families
  • All hires must provide a Police Information Check
  • Provide your own computer with internet access, phone (with ability to use apps), and quiet work space
Preferred Experience
  • Experience related to administration or organizational tasks: 2 years
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software an asset.
