You enjoy solving problems, are enthusiastic about your work and interact well with tenants.The Job: (Resident Manager / Maintenance)We are looking for a full-time Resident Manager / Maintenance Worker to care for buildings in the Edmonton Area.We are looking for a fulltime Resident Manager to care for a buildings in the Oliver District of Edmonton. Our preference is for a live-in couple that can handle maintenance as well as management.The Resident Management is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the property including but not limited to:

  • Optimal Operation of the property
  • Collect Security Deposits and rental payments as required; Make bank deposits as required;
  • Ensure suites are rent-ready; keeping common areas clean, snow removal on sidewalks & Lawn cutting in the summer
  • Organizing Quotations for repairs and upgrades with contractors as required;
  • Ensure the site’s budget is adhered to and advise Residential Department of any spending overages;
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Technician and assign maintenance duties as required;
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as necessary;
  • Deliver various notices as required;
  • Various office duties (filing, record keeping, etc.)
  • Assist Property Manager with on-site duties as required.
Maintenance Description:
  • Renovating Suites; demolition/renovation of kitchens/bathrooms, installation of cabinetry, baseboards, blinds, light fixtures, bathtubs, toilets, vanities.
  • Optimal Operation of the property – dealing with minor repairs, leaking taps, minor plumbing, finishing carpentry, minor plumbing
  • Strong Painting Skillset
  • Ensure the renovation budgets are adhered to and advise
  • Organising Quotations for repairs and upgrades with contractors as required;
  • Assist Property Manager with on-site duties as required.
Experience:
  • Experience as a handyman/tradesperson/contractor
  • Professional, interpersonal, and time management skill;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ideal is knowledge of the residential tenancy act;
