Job Description

Position: Rigger - Wetaskiwin Wastewater Treatment PlantProject Type: Wastewater Treatment PlantProject Location: WetaskiwinShift: DaySchedule:Accommodations: LocalDuration: 12-16 monthsTravel Details:GC: GrahamAllied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc.Reference Number: 18243

  • Attach rigging to material and equipment to prepare for moving with chains, shackles, web slings, chokers and or straps
  • Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
  • Must be able to perform quick load calculations
  • Determine angles and position of rigging to ensure all loads are safe and secure during lift
  • Communicate with other trades as to positioning of their materials within the project boundaries and floor to floor
  • Must be able to communicate directions to crane operator while load is “in the blind”
  • Follow all project policies and working rules
  • ensure all that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
Summary of responsibilities and requirements:
  • Minimum two (2-5) years of construction experience as a Rigger
  • Must have valid NCCO rigging certificate
  • ESC fall protection certificate
  • ESC Aerial Work Platform
  • CSTS 2020
