This role is ideal for individuals who are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate rock trucks to haul and dump material safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections of the vehicle and report any issues.
  • Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other crew members to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain clean and functional equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience operating rock trucks in a mining or heavy construction environment.
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work long shifts in a remote camp setting.
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Work Conditions:
  • 12-hour shifts, with potential for day or night shifts.
  • Remote camp accommodation provided for the duration of the project.
  • Transportation to and from the camp may be provided depending on location.
  • Weather conditions can be harsh; appropriate gear and preparation are necessary.
Compensation:
  • Starting wage is $27 per hour.
  • Overtime may be available depending on project demands.
