Job Description

We are currently seeking to hire a Service Coordinator to join our award-winning customer team.Service Coordinators are responsible for responding to the needs of our customers, organizing and scheduling work for our field service technicians, and driving profitable service revenue.Interested candidates must possess a strong technical aptitude, a positive team-focused attitude, professional customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing consistent high-quality detailed work.The ideal candidate is a friendly, reliable, enthusiastic, team player who enjoys solving problems and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.Daily Activities Will Include:

  • Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and face-to face.
  • Making pro-active phone calls to schedule service work.
  • Promptly responding to incoming customer inquiries.
  • Identifying customer problems and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Basic troubleshooting to help determine technical issues.
  • Utilizing computer software and business systems to schedule work and create service work orders.
  • Creating repair estimates for customers and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Reviewing service work orders and time sheets for accuracy prior to billing.
  • Collaborating with service team and other internal departments to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

  • Ability to develop and maintain harmonious relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • Professional, outgoing communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Customer focus with the ability to articulate and define value for the customer.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and associated business software.
  • Ability to work independently and perform consistent, high quality, work.
  • Technical aptitude and interest. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Comprehension of technical manuals, parts manuals, equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Multi-tasking with the ability to adapt to frequently changing customer demands.
  • Strong sense of duty and responsibility.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling frequent paperwork and documentation processes.
  • Ability to work at a computer station while sitting at desk for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
  • Understanding of basic accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma mandatory. Post-secondary diploma, or certificate is preferred.
  • Previous experience with service coordination, service dispatching, and/or service operations is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI’s in previous 5 years.
  • Seeking candidates eligible for employment locally in the Edmonton, Alberta region.
  • Subject to human rights considerations, an immunization record showing you have received the COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to the start of employment. In the event you have only received one vaccination, we require proof that your second vaccination has been received.
