Job Description

Role Overview The Service Transformation Consultant will support strategic planning, operational efficiency, and financial oversight across IT and business functions. The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities to evaluate technology, optimize services, and improve financial performance through initiatives like zero-based budgeting and contract management. Key Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology to recommend cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and document recommendations for stakeholders and project teams.
  • Assess existing services and identify areas for remediation or cost optimization.
  • Analyze contracts and prepare budget justifications and spend plans.
  • Support zero-based budgeting initiatives and maintain comprehensive reports.
  • Communicate and interpret operational policies to clients and project teams.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Track progress, provide status updates, and support data collection for grants and outcomes reporting.
  • Ensure change management procedures are followed throughout project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications Educationamp; Certifications
  • Bachelor #39;s or Master #39;s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle, PMP, ITIL).
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in IT roles involving finance, budgeting, or contract management.
  • At least 3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
  • Experience with:
    • Data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Data warehousing, modeling, and automation (Python, PowerShell, ETL).
    • APIs, system integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS financial applications.
    • System integration across finance/procurement/analytics platforms.
    • Leading technical or digital transformation projects in finance/procurement contexts.
Skills
  • Expertise in financial planning and contract management system optimization.
  • Strong business acumen in procurement, finance operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with process automation and digital adoption.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with finance, legal, procurement, and executive teams.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Active certifications in Azure Fundamentals, AWS, or GCP.
  • RFP development and procurement lifecycle experience.
  • Working with architects and technical teams on IT solution delivery.
  • IT infrastructure support and team-based troubleshooting.
