Job Description

Plainsman Mfg. Inc. is looking to hire a Receiver/Shipper. (We ask that candidates be located close to the Edmonton area). Important - Apply in PDF formatting.Pay Type: Hourly Hours: Monday to Friday;8:00am - 5pm.Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Physically able.
  • Computer skills.
  • Valid Class 5 license.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Receiving items and purchase orders correctly in ERP systems.
  • Physically stocking away items and purchase orders in proper locations.
  • Marking, packaging, and material handling.
  • Safe operation of forklift.
  • Knowledge on requirements for international shipments.
  • Loading/Unloading of trucks.
  • Work with other departments (sales, purchasing).
  • Adhere to the safety program.
  • Adhere to the quality systems.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Miscellaneous tasks requested by supervisors/managers.
  • Helping others when needed.
  • 5S work area.
