Job Description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring a Shop Hand for a dual shop position for our Acheson and Fort Saskatchewan, AB branches. This position will require you to work within a shop environment, ensuring the shop and yard is kept clean and all equipment and company vehicles are maintained. Shipping and receiving, inventory control and general labour duties are required. The shift is Monday to Friday, with 40 hours per week. Candidates must have a valid Class 5 (non-GDL) drivers license as they will be required to perform hot shots.Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a shop environment
  • Knowledge of electrical parts would be considered an asset
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license (non-GDL) and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Acheson and Fort Saskatchewan, AB in order to be considered
