Job Description

Manpower Staffing is currently recruiting Shop Laborers for our client located in Nisku.Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:30AM-4:00PM with opportunity for overtime.Length of Assignment: Contract to Perm

  • Performs equipment tests, per applicable procedures and specifications, for pumps, motors, protectors, gas separators, intakes and monitoring tools.
  • Assembles and dismantles equipment per applicable RPS documents. Performs testing, during the dismantle process, as specified in dismantle MPIs, and records results.
  • May complete Assembly & Dismantle reporting forms (whether hand-written or DRS entry) and maintains dismantle files/ database.
  • Follow established job safety analyses (JSAs) and risk prevention and mitigation measures.
  • Follow established systems, procedures, and processes
  • Shut down any operation and contact supervisor for any operation deemed too hazardous to proceed.
  • Stop any process and control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency has been corrected.
  • Report hazardous situations, incidents and non-conformances as per relevant company standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Criminal Record Check Required
  • Drug and Medical Testing Required
  • High school graduate.
  • Working knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Basic electrical knowledge helpful.
  • Working with hand tools
  • Needs to have average mechanical knowledge and ability.
  • Basic submergible pumping system knowledge helpful.
  • Vocational training in electrical/mechanical/machine/welding helpful
