We are currently looking for someone to join with us on a regular basis. We need someone that is available to work on every snowfall. We also go out between snowfalls to check for ice, lay down sand as needed and fill sand bins. This gives everyone some extra hours outside of just snow days.The position requires you to be available for all snow days. (days off can be requested within reason). This is the number one requirement. No early morning hours! We meet at our shop for 8:30am-9:00am and go out for the day from there.We do sidewalk snow removal using snow blowers, back pack blowers, shovels, and snow brushes. This is not a heavy equipment position. You will need to be able to get to our East end shop (near 75th street and Coronet Road) for a 9am start, although it can vary slightly depending on the day. You would then go out in our trucks from there. Expect to work a full 8 hours most days with the odd day of overtime. You will also need to have steel toe boots and warm clothing for all conditions. We can supply a high visibility, warm jacket if needed. Experience is great, but we will train for the right person. Valid drivers license and clean abstract is also a plus but not a must. Pay starts at $17/hour. There is a strong possibility of the position turning into year round doing full time lawn maintenance in the summer months.We are a family owned and operated business.
