Job Description

Snow Removal Site Foreman - Blue Grass Sod Farms Ltd.Position available in: EdmontonBlue Grass Sod Farms currently holds snow removal contracts with commercial, properties. Our focus is to exceed client satisfaction 100% of the time - delivering prompt professional service.Blue Grass is looking for an experienced Snow Removal Foreman for commercial snow removal contracts in Nisku. This person will oversee a small crew on job sites, delegating tasks and leading by example in order to complete projects most efficiently. They will keep close contact with the Manager ensuring proper maintenance of our properties without compromising quality.Required:

  • 4 years experience supervising a crew of 3-4
  • Current class 5 Drivers License with a vehicle and clean abstract
  • Able to drive a 5 or 7 ton crew truck
  • Landscaping and/ or snow removal experience - commercial and/or residential settings
  • Excellent with CAT skid steer and/ or loader operation
Experience with all aspects of snow removal:
  • Hand clearing equipment and techniques
  • Heavy equipment (loaders and skid steers)
  • Training and management of workers
  • Application of salt
  • Safety conscious
Potential for year round employment for the right candidate. Blue Grass operates year round in many aspects of the landscaping industry.Immediate start date.
