Job DescriptionThe Sorter (MRF) safety and efficiently operates their assigned Work Station in a safe, effective and efficient manner at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) to achieve operational targets. When assigned to sort materials, sorts products on a moving conveyor line to meet quality and productivity expectations. Maintains work area in a clean and effective manner at all times. When assigned to clean screens and/or conveyors, may be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces using hand tools to clean equipment. Required to perform housekeeping tasks as assigned. The incumbent trains and assists other members of their crew as required. Incumbent is required to work 8-hour shifts, either day or evening shifts.This position operates within a COR certified plant environment (which is a requirement of our Contract) and is required to comply with all regulatory requirements and the Client’s Environmental Management System.
