Job Description

Pet Planet West Granville is looking for a full-time experienced, flexible, enthusiastic and reliable Pet AmbassadorNote: This is a permanent position a minimum of a 2 year commitment is required. We are located at 7177 Winterburn Road. Reliable Transportation is required. ****Qualified candidates please bring your resume into the store.The ideal candidate -

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends & at times alone
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and self-motivated
  • Must have the ability to lift 25-35.7 lb dog food bags
  • Must have a desire to learn about and educate on all aspects of pet welfare
  • Must show a passion and love of animals, and must exhibit a level of care and compassion that is second to none
  • Must be out going, team oriented, and have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of people and their pets
  • Must love to talk to people and enjoy developing relationships
Duties include but are not limited to -
  • Assisting customers with carrying their purchases to their car
  • Helping customers with use of the doggy self wash as required
  • Mopping, cleaning and vacuuming, shelf organizing & occasional paperwork & inventory
  • Noticing and cleaning up of doggy mistakes
  • Being kind, positive, honest, reliable & pleasant at all times
