The responsibilities of a Store Manager includes:Sales GenerationMeet minimum sales requirements based on store volume (corporate goal)Provide exceptional client experience by executing OAK+FORT Sales CultureBuild and manage client relationships through client database recordingBe a brand ambassador by keeping up with new arrivals, product knowledge, and wearing current merchandiseProvide industry knowledge through awareness of products and prices in the marketDrive sales through OAK+FORT eCommerce purchases and social media platformsMaximize sales during special events and customer servicesEnsure store team processes cash desk operations with engagement, efficiency, and accuracyRespond and appropriately resolve customer complaints and service opportunitiesStaff DevelopmentSource and hire top candidates to build a high performing teamBuild our team by welcoming and onboarding new employeesBuild and maintain relationships with store team, peers, and relevant partnersTrain and develop high performing staff to maximize productivityProvide timely feedback and active informal training to staffInspire and motivate team through demonstrating leadership qualitiesEnsure staff are adhering to OAK+FORT Sales Culture and service expectationsInitiate and communicate team objectives and updates with Management team and corporate partnersPartner with District Manager to evaluate and dismiss underperforming staffSupport internal growth through promoting high performing staffHost staff meetings as necessary and participate in monthly Manager’s meetingsStore FunctionalityParticipate in training and execution of floor managementEnsure the right quantity of stock is in the right place at the right timeMaintain proper presentation of merchandise in accordance to corporate directivesOversee stock room set-up and organizationEnsure Stock Team ships and receives merchandise with accuracy and efficiencySupport cleanliness and maintenance of physical store to create a safe and comfortable shopping experienceAdhere to loss prevention policies to prevent external and internal theftCreate weekly schedules to maximize sales, eliminate wastage, and ensure the right quality and calibre of staff are workingThe ideal candidate will have the ability to:Influence and support others through building presenceCommunicate effectively both verbally and in writingManage time and priorities effectivelyBuild constructive and effective relationships with the store teamPresent ideas and recommendations in a professional, organized and logical manner1QrkucHFYS
