Job Description

BUSINESS UNIT: GRIMSHAW TRUCKING L.P.POSITION: SUMMER RELIEF HIGHWAY DRIVERSAre you looking for more than just a job How about a career with unlimited growth potential and a great work/life balance Want to be home every day and have your weekends free Grimshaw Trucking L.P. is looking for a Summer Relief Highway Driver based out of their busy Edmonton Terminal!Pay for this position is $0.6093/mile, plus paid work and wait times.Responsibilities:

  • Pull extended length trailers from Edmonton to various destination in Northern Alberta
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Adhere to all safety policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain assigned schedule
Qualifications:
  • Must have valid class 1 Driver’s Licence with a minimum of 2 years class 1 experience (experience must be with a tractor trailer)
  • Experience in operating LCV’s
  • Clean driver’s Abstract
  • Demonstrate Commitment to Safety
  • Must be fluent in English; Written and Spoken
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive, pleasant and professional attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Team Player- has respect for self and co-workers
  • Ability to successfully pass fit for duty testing which includes medical, physical ability, alcohol and drug testing
  • Must pass criminal background check
