Reports ToVice President, OperationsSummaryNorseman is looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall Supply Chain strategy across Canada and the US.This position is open to Edmonton, Langley and NewmarketResponsibilities· Work with senior leadership to develop and enhance Norseman’s Supply Chain strategy· Maintain supply chain inventory and records in AX· Provide leadership to the Supply Chain team including training and mentoring· Research, implement and report on cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes· Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth· Ensure Supply Chain processes meet legal requirements and standards· Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams· Determine key Supply Chain KPIs for the Supply Chain team· Suggest solutions for process improvements· Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner· Build and maintain good relationships with vendors· Oversight of importing functions and processes· Optimizing warehouse functions and processes· Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reportsRequirements and skills· Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager in the Canadian marketplace for a minimum of 5 years· SCMP designation and Degree in Supply Chain Management· Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian importing, tariffs, duty and brokerage regulations· Previous experience leading a team including training and mentorship· Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain processes· Experience using MRP systems· Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX an asset· Excellent organizational and project management skills· Attention to detail and creative problem-solving· Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills· Excellent negotiation skills· Legally entitled to work in Canada with a current work permit· Previous experience in implementing and maintaining digital inventory systemsWork Conditions· Business hours Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week· Some travel requiredJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
