PurposeThe Systems Accountant supports the improvement, optimization, maintenance and administration of our ERP and other business systems. This role works closely with the Financeamp; Admin team, as well as other business units, to identify and implement system and process improvements that enhance system performance, user experience, and overall business efficiency.What will you do
  • Maintain and configure business systems (ERP and related tools) to improve processes and user experience.
  • Provide hands-on support for the ERP system, including troubleshooting and resolution in coordination with third-party providers.
  • Work collaboratively with the business and the Financeamp; Admin team to identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects involving the ERP and other finance systems.
  • Gather and document business requirements for new projects or system changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date finance process documentation.
  • Create training materials and provide training to both finance and non-finance system users.
  • Develop a strong understanding of how systems and data flow across business functions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support data integrity, accuracy, and reporting needs across integrated systems.
What you will bring:
  • Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) would be beneficial.
  • 4+ years of ERP experience in a complex business environment.
  • Proven experience in ERP support, optimization, and system/process improvements.
  • Experience leading system upgrades, enhancements, and functional rollouts.
  • Knowledge of ERP integrations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to map processes and analyze data flow across systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Sage X3 experience would be beneficial.
  • Relevant degree would be advantageous.
