Individuals employed in these areas are responsible for ensuring the completion of products for clients, while directly supervising offenders receiving training in these workplaces and providing them with employment and employability skill development opportunities. All incumbents must agree to work in a federal correctional setting (institutional and community) on a regular basis and have direct interactions with the offenders they are required to supervise. Incumbents also have direct contact with staff within other areas of Correctional Service Canada and government, as well as clients, stakeholders and members of the public.
