We #39;re looking for a mission-driven Tech Trainer, Come to Work who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.The Tech Trainer, Come to Work will assist in the Talent Pool Cultivation by executing 1on1 training preparation, execute/capture progress follow-up, development/ implementation of the documented goal/skill development area provided by the Program Lead/Coordinator working with the Talent Pool in order to complete readiness activities within the Come to Work (CTW) Program. Your Impact at CNIB Regular follow up with potential and current Talent Pool participants by telephone, email and virtual platforms (Zoom Video / Microsoft Teams). Execution of at least one (1) Group session per month based on areas of focus provided from the Program Lead/Coordinator working with the Talent Pool. Conducts multiple 1-on-1 sessions with individuals within the Talent Pool developing skills in work related duties (i.e. email, documents, website, cloud storage, communications) via remote delivery courses and materials shared (developed, updated, shared). Accessible technology includes, Window accessibility features, screen readers, magnification software, smart phone Apps, etc. Technologically savvy to learn new accessibility Apps, software and technology quickly to provide assistance and demonstrations to the vision loss community. Excellent organizational skills to manage Outlook calendar to coordinate monthly workshops and one-on-one virtual meetings two to three times a week. Use online CRM to register and follow-up with individuals for group participation for upcoming workshops and one-on-one technology training.
