Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for facilitating the accounts payable function for multiple Colas Canada Subsidiaries. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain basic knowledge of accounting functions. With a network of subsidiaries across Canada, we provide excellent opportunities to grow your career.Main Responsibilities

  • Scanning or uploading invoices into OnBase for processing
  • Communicating with subsidiaries and vendors on inquiries
  • Processing non-PO and PO invoices in JDE
  • Processing invoices in all other applicable queues in OnBase
  • Reviewing issue queues in OnBase and determining corrective action when necessary
  • Administration of accounts payable Outlook inbox
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Inquiring with vendors on missing invoices based on statement reconciliation
  • Other accounts payable related projects assigned by Corporate Controller and/or VP Finance
What You Bring
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe software
  • JDE or OnBase experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work will in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based environment
  • Adaptability to a changing work environment
