Job Description

Total Horizontal Drilling is seeking Foremen to support projects in British Columbia and Alberta.Must haves:

  • Valid licence and clean abstract
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence Training
  • Ground Disturbance Level 2
  • Standard First Aid
  • WHMIS 2015
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to teams assigned, and provide mentoring and training to team members where required
  • Ensure adherence to Safety Objectives for the company and project by all on site
  • Read and interpret drawings, and adapt to changing conditions on site
  • Correlate drawings to field construction
  • Ensure that construction activities are completed in a productive manner
  • Ensure that crews are equipped and ready for the day
  • Ensure that work areas are cleaned and secured at the end of each day
Paid Travel, Accommodations and Meal Allowance when working out of town.Contract length: 6 monthsJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $30.00-$40.00 per hourAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Experience:
  • Telecom Construction Leadership: 2 years (required)
