Warehouse Person/ Labourer - Jobs in Edmonton, AB

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Direct truck to proper dock area (if required) - Fill sales orders in a timely manner

Provide support/assistance to Shipping Supervisor/Dispatch and other areas when necessary (loaders/sales/foreman)
Prepare and distribute all Bills of Lading correctly
Ensure all employees and drivers obey safety regulations
Responsible for signing in packages and supplies
Always work safely, adhering to all Health & Safety policies Operate forklift
Experience completing customs papers an asset

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to lift up to 100lbs at a time if needed
Experience operating a lift truck license is a must
Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset SAM123 This position involves processing incoming and outgoing orders in a fast-paced environment.
Accurately pick, pack, ship, receive and confirm orders for domestic and export customers
Physically able to perform job related tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
Ship, receive & inspect truckloads of material to ensure quantity, identification and appropriate packaging is damage free.
Participate in daily cycle counting and annual physical inventory
Work all shifts and overtime scheduled as required
Work in compliance with all Samuel Safety Standards at all times
Report Safety & Material deficiencies, participate in root cause investigations then help implement solutions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform production duties such as manual lifting of metal pieces
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
Perform related duties as required by supervision
Ensures bundle measurements are accurate
Other duties as assigned.
