This role is responsible for ensuring that product being fabricated in the Edmonton facility meets both the company and ASTM standards. As the Quality Assurance Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of our products and helping maintain the product quality standards.The role encompasses many different functions, which all help to support the quality standards set out by the company. Do you have what it takes
  • Conduct quality control inspections during receiving to ensure specification adherence.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Team to achieve quality targets.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams in cases of product non-conformance.
  • Maintain database of raw and finished product non-conformances.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventative actions that result from quality issue
  • Perform quality control inspections on work-in-progress and finished product.
  • Complete logs and records as required
  • Frequent standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 23 kg.
  • Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
What qualifications do you need
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • 2 to 5 years in quality assurance position.
  • Experience working with ISO style Quality Management System
  • Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
Crossroads C&I operates the largest industrial and commercial insulation products fabrication facility in Canada at our Edmonton location, capable of producing Pipe and Tank Insulation, Fittings, Laminated Products, Jacketing Products and Fabstraps.
