Job Description

We are hiring warehouse support. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.Responsibilities:

  • Participates in off-hours deployments and work as deemed necessary to reduce interruption to daily operations and facilitate testing
  • Assist Warehouse Engineers in the administration and support of major applications
  • Works with the End User Services team to create and deploy software and operating systems to maintain security, enhance capabilities and ensure consistency
  • Attend meetings with DC users and management staff to gather information and create and deliver reports within systems to assist in planning and execution of support activities
  • Participates in design and planning meetings to secure, enhance or resolve large scale issues
  • Effectively communicate with vendors to request service regarding defective products
  • Assist in research, testing, both software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work or aid in securing environment, provide efficiency or enhance operations
  • Acts as member of team to maintain Warehouse Systems SharePoint site to keep information relevant and up to date
  • Installs computers software, and peripheral equipment to assist End User Services where applicable
  • Proficient knowledge in Windows Desktop and Server OS, Microsoft Office, office equipment, and networking fundamentals
Qualifications:
  • Participate in new Product releases and integrate support with production processes
  • Responsible to ensure Incidents are resolved/remediated within established SLAs
  • 2+ years of experience with working on Teradata or Oracle database platforms
  • 2+ years of Experience with Batch Scheduling tools such as Contol-M
  • A strong aptitude for sales
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $25.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday

  • Edmonton, AB T5B 0S9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
