The HelloFresh Group now includes our core brand, HelloFresh, as well as: GreenChef, EveryPlate, Chefs Plate, Factor, and Youfoodz.About the RoleWe are looking for a FULL-TIME HOURLY Warehouse Team Lead at our Nisku Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for accurately and safely gathering, packaging, and preparing products according to the weekly sales order. Establish practice and procedures for product shipping, picking, and storing. You will be responsible to identify and confirm any products received that do not comply with both quality and quantity of the product. You will play a key role working in collaboration with all personnel and managers to ensure the warehouse is running smoothly.What you will be doing:

• Be responsible for leading a group of employees involved in warehouse operations procedures with regard to receiving, shipping, storage / distribution of goods, and logistics
• Plan and assign work to subordinates and provide all employees with necessary tools, proper training and corrective direction.
• Regularly required to communicate with other departments such as Quality, Production, Procurement or Logistics in order to collaborate and solve problems.
• Maintains the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Train, update and inspect data in the computer system; must be able to use a computer and type/data entry using computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets)
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Coordinating inventory transfers with related departments/facilities.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Maintains inventory by conducting weekly cycle counts.
• Use and supervise the forklifts in a safe manner in compliance with Company Health and Safety Policy

At a minimum, you have:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in a high volume receiving role or high volume food service environment
• Experience with computer based shipping/receiving systems
• Experience with Inventory Control
• Very good command of the English language – reading and writing text and numbers is essential.
• Must be willing and able to handle exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc.) with or without accommodation
• Must be willing and able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation
• Forklift operator certification (Preferred)
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Overtime, weekend, evening and holiday work, as required
• Must be willing and constantly lift up to 50 pounds
