It operates primarily out of Edmonton (Alberta, CAN) and Austin (Texas, USA) creating some of the worlds most critically acclaimed titles since 1995. The studio is working on future game experiences for the Mass Effect™ franchise, one of the highest rated video game series of all time, and the Dragon Age™ franchise, whose latest entry was the 2014 Game of the Year. We are also working on announced projects Star Wars™ The Old Republic™, a story-driven massively multiplayer online game, and Anthem™, a co-operative Action-RPG set in a new and mysterious world.Responsibilities:

• You will:
• Develop animation using mocap, keyframe and in-engine tools.
• Iterate and refine animation, based on both aesthetics and feel.
• Collaborate with Designers, Technical Animators, Programmers, VFX Artists, Audio Designers, and Production
• Realize narrative moments in game.
• Work with our Outsource Animation Director to provide feedback to external partners.
• Engage with and plan out interactive animation systems.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience.
• A diploma or degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
• Traditional animation skills and the ability apply them to gameplay, cinematics and non-traditional forms of content.
• Proficiency in Maya and Motionbuilder
• Proficiency in runtime engine animation workflows including state machines, cinematic tools & procedural systems

Portfolio:

• All submissions must include a demo reel showing personal or professional artwork.
• Demo reel must be submitted as a link on resume.
