Job Title: Heavy Duty Truckamp; Trailer MechanicIndustry: Oilamp; Gas MaintenanceLocation: Stony Plain, ABAbout the Role:As a Heavy Duty Truckamp; Trailer Mechanic/Technician, you #39;ll be the backbone of our service team, ensuring our fleet is in top condition. You #39;ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing high-quality service that keeps our operations running smoothly. If you #39;re passionate about working with heavy equipment and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you to advance your career.Job Duties:• Perform diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.• Test drive vehicles to verify repair effectiveness.• Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues.• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.• Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Red Seal certification or equivalent in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truckamp; Transport Technician, Diesel Mechanic.• Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers.• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standardsOther details:Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Here at Primus Workforce, we provide safety-minded, experienced personnel support throughout the oilamp; gas, construction, technical trades, and other sectors to our clients #39; long-term and short-term contingency needs.
