Position OverviewAs a Night Security Watchperson, your primary responsibility is to safeguard equipment and property during non-operational hours. This position is perfect for individuals who prefer a peaceful work environment and can remain vigilant during nighttime hours. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 3-5 months. The hours will generally be from 6pm to 6am and will rotate between 3 and 4 shifts per week.Key Responsibilities

• Routine Patrols: Conduct regular inspections of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify any irregularities.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Utilize security systems to oversee the site effectively.
• Reporting: Maintain logs of nightly activities and incidents.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services if necessary.
• Additional Duties: Perform tasks as required to maintain the safety and security of the premises.

Qualifications - Considered an asset

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing: Possession of a valid Alberta Security Services license or willingness to obtain one.
• Skills: Strong observational abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform patrols, which may involve walking or standing for extended periods.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently during night shifts.
