This position is also to assist with vaccination season, mainly anaesthetizing, brailing and transferring fish. The successful candidate will be physically fit in order to assist with high-volume vaccinations.Application Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with salmon hatchery operations would be an asset
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work as a team member in a camp environment
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Proactive attitude to foresee and solve problems and ability to work as a team member
• Aquaculture Technician Certificate or Aquaculture Technician Diploma would be an asset but not required

This full-time, camp-based position has a shift schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off.Special Requirements:

• Prerequisite to hiring are reference checks.
