Job Description

Join our dynamic construction team at The Canadian Brewhouse, where we’re dedicated to excellence in every project we undertake. With a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety, we #39;re committed to delivering outstanding results. As we continue to expand, we #39;re seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals to join us as Construction Labourers.As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects from start to finish. You will work alongside the Site Superintendent and skilled tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of various tasks on project sites. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and materials.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Having a variety of own tools is preferred but not required (tool allowance provided).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Own transportation to get to and from the job site (locally).
  • Ability to travel for out-of-town work.
  • Commitment to safety practices and procedures
