POSITION OVERVIEW:Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the certified Millwright will be responsible for:
  • Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of all plant mechanical equipment.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance on all plant mechanical equipment.
  • Organizing work, read and interpret drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals.
  • Utilizing selected CMMS systems for Materials and Work Order Management.
  • Coordinate contractor activities as required.
  • Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner.
  • Complete all jobs in a timely manner.
  • Must be in good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to climb stairs, ladders, and rough terrain, working from heights.
  • Work as a Team with other trades
Please note: All positions are required to work in a noisy, dusty, manufacturing environment.Qualifications
  • Provincial or Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification as a Millwright.
  • 5 – 10 Years in an industrial environment would be an asset.
  • Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be willing to work on a rotating shift schedule that includes both days and evenings, 8-hour shifts.
  • Knowledge of confined space/lockout-tagout/fall arrest trainingamp; procedures are an asset
  • MUST be a Team player and work well with others.
  • Leadership experience would be considered an asset.
