Job Description

Description:Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management and diversion, providing governments and industries with a wide range of services in the provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector, and currently operates out of more than 30 locations. This position will be located out of our facility in Moncton, NB.Miller Waste Systems is looking for Collections Helpers who are efficient and effective working with a team to ensure timely curb side collection of residential waste, recycling and organics within Miller Waste Systems. Experience in customer service would be considered an asset.Responsibilities/RequirementsIn the position of CSR/Collections Helper your responsibilities and job requirements will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Driver in the collection of the waste streams (garbage, recycling, organics, and bulky items.
  • You must be highly productive, energetic and safety conscious.
  • You must be a team player with safe working habits.
  • This is a physically demanding position, so the ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly is a requirement.
  • Flexibility with your work schedule is a must as start times and end times may vary.
  • Customer service skills would be considered an asset.
  • You must be available to work Saturdays when required.
