Traffic Control Person - $13.15/hourResponsibilities include:
  • Assisting with the setup of temporary workplaces
  • Direct traffic at temporary workplaces
  • Warning workers of impending danger
Training & Requirements:
  • Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
  • Steel-toe boots
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Temporary Workplace Signer - $15.15/hourResponsibilities include:
  • Ensuring temporary workplace are signed in accordance with provincial requirements
  • Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing
  • Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
  • Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
  • Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
  • Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces
Training & Requirements:
  • Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
  • Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Steel-to boots
Company Drivers/Signers - $17.15/hourResponsibilities include:
  • Operating a company vehicle
  • Driving crew to/from temporary workplaces
  • Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $13.15-$17.15 per yearLicence/Certification:
  • Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate (preferred)
  • Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate (preferred)
