OPEN TO THE PUBLICThis is a Fixed Term Part-time (85%) position teaching Grade 3 Math & Language Arts and Grade 6 Humanities at Englewood School for the 2021 – 2022 school year only.The Public Schools Branch is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment that inspires respect. All qualified applications will receive consideration without regard to sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnic origin, colour, religion, nationality, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: • Applicants must have or be eligible to hold a valid PEI Teacher's License;• Experience at the Grade 3 & Grade 6 levels;• Experience with IEP's and Running Records;• Experience with StudentsAchieve(SAS);• Knowledge and experience with ALP’s, adaptations and modifications to curriculum;• Knowledge of effective assessment strategies;• Experience with Progress Monitoring;• Experience working with Support Staff (i.e EA’s);• Experience in differentiated teaching;• Experience using Workshop Model;• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills;• Knowledge and experience with effective teaching strategies;• Effective oral and written communication skills with students, parents and colleagues;• Able to demonstrate teamwork and collaborative practices;• Demonstrated commitment to on-going learning and school community.Note:Please ensure the application clearly demonstrates how you meet thenoted qualifications as applicants will be screened based on theinformation provided.
