Overview:A structured Control Operator role is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino. The primary purpose of the Control Operator is to ensure the safety and well being of guests and associates of the River Cree Resort.Reporting to the Surveillance Manager, the Control Operator monitors for activity that could be of harm to guests or the property.Responsibilities:Continuously monitor cameras of the non-gaming areas of the resort.Serve as central radio/phone dispatch for Resort Security.Respond to Casino floor employee complaints about belligerent or difficult patronsDispatch Emergency Services as requiredCreate incident reports as per company directiveAnswer phone calls from general public and operational staff for the Security DepartmentMaintains accurate logs in Property Central Reporting SystemPromote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and AGLC personnel.Provide evidence in legal matters that have resulted from criminal charges against patrons or employees.To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.All other duties as assignedQualifications:Communication Skills: Must be adept in reading, writing and comprehension of the English language.Manual Dexterity: The Control Operator must have the dexterity to maneuver electronic surveillance equipment smoothly using a mouse or joystick.Must have the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.Ability to communicate effectively on the radio.Strong knowledge of MS Office SuiteAble to obtain an AGLC LicenseThis type of work appeals to people who enjoy having clear rules and guidelines for their work, dealing with people from diverse backgrounds and controlling access to facilities.The Schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.WE OFFERA competitive wage and excellent benefits.Shuttle service from West Edmonton location.All associates participate in our “Circle of Service” program which rewards and empowers individuals who provide outstanding customer service.An opportunity to work within a progressive, exciting team environment.An opportunity to work with a skilled Management team.Quick Apply
