Overview:Follow instructions of Executive Chef and Sous Chef to properly execute menu, ensuring consistency and compliance with the recipe book and presentation, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines.Responsibilities:Assist in preparation and service of hot and cold items to menu specifications.Must be comfortable standing/walking for 8 hours/shift.Maintain an organized station.Maintain kitchen cleanliness.Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.Able to perform all the duties all by himself/herself.Must be able to perform task at specific time frame.Appropriately store all food products to ensure safety, quality and freshness.To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.All other duties as assignedQualifications:A high school diploma is preferred2-3 years of being a first cook; 2nd year apprenticeship would be preferredAbility to handle stress in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with limited supervisionAttention to detail is necessaryMust be able to work flexible shiftsThe schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.WE OFFERA competitive wage and excellent benefits.Shuttle service from West Edmonton location.All associates participate in our “Circle of Service” program which rewards and empowers individuals who provide outstanding customer service.An opportunity to work within a progressive, exciting team environment.An opportunity to work with a skilled Management team.
