Overview:Reporting to the Slot Supervisor/Slot Duty Manager a Slot Attendant will ensure they promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all the guests, associates, and AGLC personnel.Responsibilities:Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer serviceA passion for excellent service and the organization’s visionCommitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants are.Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring othersEnsure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests throughout hours of operation.Willingness to discover opportunities to exceed the customer's expectationsAbility to grasp instructionsUphold a teamwork experience offering assistance where available or when requested.Ability to accept responsibility readily and grasp instructionsAdhering to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floorAdministering hand pays and jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance; will include diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket game, and game diagnosticsResponsible for balancing assigned daily cash floatIdentifying and report counterfeit billsResponsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiriesEnsuring all slot operations are in compliance with AGLC terms and conditionsMonitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests.Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floorDaily execution of assigned operational goals and objectivesEnsure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests, sections are clean and tidy throughout hours of operationActively promote the Casino’s Resort ClubResponsible for slot machine box pullsAbility to grasp instructions and adjust to changing conditionsUphold a teamwork appearance offering assistance where available or when requestedMaintain an updated AGLC gaming workers licenseAbility to walk for long periods at a timePractices operational efficienciesAbility to accept responsibility readilyTo look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.All other duties as assignedQualifications:Slot experience is an assetCash handling is a definite assetHigh School Diploma an assetMust be able to register with AGLCExcellent customer service skillsBasic math (counting currency)The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.WE OFFERA competitive wage and excellent benefits.Shuttle service from West Edmonton location.All associates participate in our “Circle of Service” program which rewards and empowers individuals who provide outstanding customer service.An opportunity to work within a progressive, exciting team environment.An opportunity to work with a skilled Management team.
