Job Description

Overview:This position provides assistance to many Hotel and Casino departments and requires strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail, accuracy and the ability to complement his/her talents and requirements. The ability to communicate effectively with all departments in the hotel and casino is a definite asset.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle and pot washing areas
  • Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
  • Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
  • Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
  • Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
  • Clean all dirty pots and pans in kitchen
  • Clean soup kettles, frying pans in main kitchen and banquet kitchen
  • Maintain temperature charts for dishwasher and pot washing areas
  • Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management
  • To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
  • Good command of English
The Schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.WE OFFER
