With Ledcor’s assistance and a formal commitment from employees, Ledcor will help employees progress towards attainment of their Class 3 license with air endorsement and full equipment operator competency.Employees will develop the skills necessary to make them safe and competent winter plow operators and will be able to have the opportunity for full-time employment.   • Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting , etc.
  • Assist with traffic control procedures
  • Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Perform other road maintenance duties as required
  • Work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Must possess a Class 5 driver’s license
  • Must provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract
Work Conditions
  • As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
