Job Description

Dutiesamp; Responsibilities

• Operate a large variety of equipment to move it in and out of the wash bay
• Use a pressurized water hose to wash equipment and vehicles prior to maintenance work
• Change soap barrels and nozzels for pressure washer as required
• Inspect wash bay grates and sump levels and report any concerns
• Keep the wash bay organized and clean of mud and debris
• Operate support equipment
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalency certificate
• Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to post-secondary education in the fall
• Valid Class 5 driver #39;s license
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights

Employment will start at the beginning of May and conclude at the end of August.This position currently follows a 28-day shift rotation working 12-hour day and night shifts from 6:00 to 6:00.The shift rotation is: 3 days, 2 off, 2 nights, 3 off, 2 days, 2 off, 3 nights, 2 off, 2 days, 3 off, 2 nights, 2 off. The Estevan Mine is located approximately 12 km from the city of Estevan and 16 km from the town of Bienfait.The successful candidate will be responsible for his/her own accommodations and transportation.
