Position Title: Cold Storage Sanitizing LabourerPosition Type: TemporaryPosition Location: Florenceville MainGrade: Scale 01 ($15.99-$17.40)Requisition ID: 8585McCain Foods (Canada) – Florenceville Distribution Center is currently looking for a Full-Time 6 month contract Sanitizing Labourer to join the team.We are looking for a self-motivated person that wants to join our CCS sanitation team. Must be able to work shift work, weekends and holidays as requiredResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Completing regular cycles of sanitizing throughout the warehouse employee facilities, offices and some areas of the loading docks.Sweeping, scrubbing floors including stairsCleaning employee and shipping facilities include washroom fixturesWaste disposalLaundryQUALIFICATIONS:Preference will be given to a person for Grade 12 or GEDMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.Ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to be flexible in dutiesAbility to respond to unexpected circumstances calmly and responsiblyAbility to accept and embrace change in the day-to-day operations and act as a team player.Work with chemicalsDUTIES:Report any mechanical and/or safety issuesComply with all safety standards set forth by McCain FoodsComplete/meet all safety related taskComply with all GMP principles set forth by McCain Foods during employee orientationWork conditions – warm, cold, dryEvaluate work for risk and take necessary precaution.Maintain 5S and HACCP check sheetsResponsible for all additional duties as they become assignedAn evaluation period will be used to determine the candidate’s suitability to the position.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
