Job Description

Position Title: Consumer Affairs RepresentativePosition Type: Regular - Full-TimePosition Location: Florenceville MainRequisition ID: 14943Consumer Affairs RepresentativeIf you are bilingual and is a highly organized, customer focused and energetic individual with a positive attitude, we have an exciting opportunity for you within our Customer Food Safety and Quality Team. This position involves managing investigations, problem solving and proactive communication.In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Customer Quality and what is fantastic about the role is that you can work remote.Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve problems associated with customer complaints through:
    • Coordinating investigations
    • Providing a formal response to the field (brokers, sales, staff, customers)
    • Building consensus among different departments within the organization across North America to address root cause issues
  • Receive and respond to retail consumers feedback via phone, email and in writing; Many of these contacts will involve routine responses, but will also involve providing immediate responses to sensitive situations (for ex. products with foreign material).
  • Ensure all email, telephone calls and response letters are entered in the Global Complaint System (GCS).
  • Complete monthly complaint reports as required.
  • Identify trends, correlate data and report results.
  • Help support our North America Retail and Food Service Team with data entry, foreign material retrieval and starting the investigation process with our plants.
  • Help support our North American Team with customer special project and/or request.
What will make you successful in the role:
  • Bilingual: French and English mandatory
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods/foods industry is an asset
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Must be able to investigate complex issues and to conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems; have the ability to make decisions in a stressful environment
  • Flexibility to work in a fast paced environment with continuously changing priorities
  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be self-motivated, independent thinker, possess excellent communication skills and interact effectively with all levels and functions within the organization
