Position Title: Farm of the Future InternPosition Type: Temporary - Full-TimeRequisition ID: 13020This temporary full-time role will commence in April 2022.Summary of PositionThe technical intern must be able to operate all farm equipment on the farm. Critical jobs will be operating the potato planter, crop sprayer and potato harvester. The person must be executing all the other operations and general farm jobs when required. The person will support and perform farm equipment maintenance and modifications with help of farm’s Technical Lead. Under the supervision of the Technical Lead, the technical intern will be responsible of instructing and explaining daily task to general farm staff and to ensure that the tasks are performed to satisfaction.QualificationsMinimum to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Individual must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Candidate must have the knowledge to operate farm equipment, a valid (truck) driver’s license to operate heavy equipment and pesticide applicator license or willing to write exams to have them.Summary of Qualifications
