Position Title: Technical Change ManagerPosition Type: Regular - Full-TimePosition Location: Florenceville GTCRequisition ID: 9554Reporting to the Manager, Transition & Deployment, the Technical Change Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of Changes ensuring adherence to ITSM processes. Ensures that proposed changes are controlled, monitored, and implemented with minimum disruption to the services being delivered. This role will be the focal point for all IT Technical change related activities.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Main point of contact for operational activities of IT Change Management.Reviews and prioritizes all logged Change Tickets, rejects change requests that are impractical or unnecessary.Reviews and analyzes change implementation plan, roll out plan, change duration, schedule, downtime, affected user groups and applications, risk and impact factors, etc.Ensure the changes will not adversely affect other products or services.Ensures that data provided in each change record is adequate and sufficient to proceed with Change Control Board (CCB meetings).Ensures that all stakeholders are invited to and attend the CCB meetings, depending on the nature and category of requested change. Add necessary reviewers and approvers to the corresponding change record in ITSM tool.Prepares agenda for CCB meetings and circulate it to all CCB members along with the meeting invite.Decides, convenes and chairs CCB meeting for all changes.Authorizes acceptable changes based on assessment of each change and feedback from CCB members.Communicates to all relevant/affected parties regarding the changes in case of service downtime or disruptions.Monitors and coordinates implementation tasks during different phases of change.Ensure adherence to ITIL Change Management policies and procedures throughout the change life cycle.Reviews all outstanding change tickets and closes the same.Analyses change records to determine any trends,Perform post implementation review (PIR) on each implemented change and document the review results in the corresponding change record.Reviews and records reasons for failure or cancellation for failed changes.KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:5+ years’ experience in managing changes within an ITIL framework.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field (or equivalent work experience).Broad exposure to IT infrastructure and application landscape ideally with technical depth in a discipline/ITSM process.Experience in administering, monitoring, reporting and maintaining Change Modules in ITSM tools.Qualification in ITIL 4 (desired).McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
